If you have an accident, god forbid, i dont think the court will look on it that way. Especially when a supplier says, in their opinion, the product is not for road use. Its like the ''can i put a bullbar on'' question...well yes you can, but be prepared to get a hefty fine/sentence if they cause death or injury as they are not a standard part.
