Hi does any one know where i can get a set, i know could make some easily but want it to look tidy as not leaving it on the car whole time, wanna take the disco on some lanes but would like to bring most of my paint back with me haha
 
Even on Lanes they're illegal :( and they won't save any of ya paint in fact they often make it worst as the wires push branches up above the roofline, which then slash back down the side of ya landy as they clear the wires. Only time they're useful is when passing under a low hanging branch. Tho the roof gets it then. Better to stop get out and trim the fooker.
 
i go out on the lanes normally once a month, and it does get scratched to f**k, i use drop of g4 then autoglym and it comes up ok, but its black so shows everything
 
I suggest you fit the steering wheel rather than bushwires..one of the aforementioned is a legal requirement, the other is illegal on the road...guess which is which and you can have my haemorrhoids.

Had to go up to burton on sat and not home till wed so haven't really had a chance to get much more off it, real tempted to keep tyres and winch bumper for mine as i do wanna start doing some lanes, but worry about my underslung LPG may look into getting some sorta side tank guards lol. So these bush wires are completely useless as well as illegal ? :(

May just buy a chain saw instead :/ so there basically completely pointless to own
 
Bowsaw, long handles pruners?? or what about a strimmer with a brush cutter attachment. :D
 
Take seconds to nip off anything with a bowsaw that a bush wire could handle. Usually an arm out the window will help anything up and over to protect yer screen.

As fer paintwork.....live with it or stay off scratchy lanes
 
If you go to any place that does lorry trailers you'll get rear cable wire for 10-20 £ tell then the size they will loop and crimp to size with 5mm steel wire
