There are a few of us LZ members in France although spread fairly widely throughout the hexagon!
Point of order though, as a Yorkshireman born and bred I think you'll find that Yorkshire is Gods own country
Anyway welcome to the loony zone.

I'm sure Yorkshire is delightful, I'd really like to see the area myself given all I've heard about it.

Are you in Beaune or on the outskirts? Know the area well as hubbys family lived between Dijon and Beaune for a long time. Always used to enjoy visiting them and stocking up on my favorite Gevrey Chambertin, also still have some bottles of Hospices de Beaune too! Yum!!

We're just outside Beaune, in the woods above the vineyards (La Montagne). My wife's family is from Puligny just a little to the south. Lots of wine around, sounds like you found some of the good stuff. Give us a shout if you're ever in the area again.
