It's an embarrassing problem to admit to in public, but I believe I can perhaps get some sympathy and understanding from you lot.
My knob is all scabby and peeling. It looks awful, is unpleasant to hold and frankly I am ashamed to show it to anyone.
Actually, all three have gone the same way. Heater knobs....what did you think I was talking about?
I have a can of grey bumper paint that might do as a last resort, but what I would like to know is if there are any other cars used the same knobs....some other model of Rover perhaps?
It would be great if I could just go to a scrapyard, find some unwanted old derelicts, compare their knobs to my knob, pull it off and slip it into my trousers....
