If your embarking at Santander you could wave to us as we get off.

I doubt you'll be able to miss the 13 strong convoy of 4x4s waiting to get on the ferry. :D

We're on the 20:30 sailing from Santander to Portsmouth.

We get off the ferry at 1730 - 4 110's and 4 LC 80's - hope we have as good a time as you have had.

Yeah, sounds like we've got your ferry as our return.
Shall keep an eye out for you all.

We've a mixture D1s, 110s, 90s, Land Cruisers and a D3 (in Tarmac mode). :D

If he left it in sand mode he'd probably crash into the bloke in front due to 'throttle response'

Must remember to set the mode from "sea mode" to "tar-mac rode" BEFORE I set off else i'm going to get stuck.... again! :p

Will try and wave - failed to wave at the last lot who I told to wave at us when going the other way and did...

after a 2:30am start today due to the ferry at 11 being cancelled, we then got to the ferry terminal to be not allowed past the first check point without our tickets stamped by the 24 hour ticket office... which was shut. with the ferry leaving at 8am, person export, car export and car x-ray to be done, we all VERY impatiently waited around for over an hour for someone to come and man the ticket place to print us off some new tickets (no idea why, think it was just because it was a Thursday and the man got out of the wrong side of bed) thankfully everyone else was in a good mood and got us through everything and onto the ferry in time.

We're now sat in a lovely campsite on the South Coast of Spain just chilling before a long drive (800 miles i think) over the next 2 days. Then just a 24 hour ferry, 2 hour drive home, 6 hours of sleep (if we're lucky) and then work.

Same happened to us the last time we came back from Tanger Med ! Got to the Ferry port at 9am got off the ferry at Algeciras at 5pm not bad eh for a 2hr crossing eh :D All good fun :)

Ferry just pulled up, so guess we'll be leaving Spain soon and so our adventure ends... pics to follow next week :)

Red weather warning with force 8 gales.

This crossing is pure nasty.

:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughi.... Is that all, Hell went through a typhoon in 1971 0n a converted WWII LST and in a 48 hr period we went backwards 30 miles, with the bow in the wind and balls to the wall. Any voyage where you reach land is a good voyage.:lol:

I thought you was talking about rough water,
