Hi will a discovery 1 bumper fit on a discovery 2 ?
Also can I lift the suspension on my discovery 2 if it has air bags ?

Don't you have a switch with airsuspension to change the ride height?

Oh I'm new to the discovery 2 and only just got it. Yep I do have a switch for air suspension but I thought it was only for the rear.
I don't have a handbook yet as the car didn't come with one (working on getting one)
Had a discover3 before but that had air all round.

1: no, that's why there are bumpers for a d1 and a d2.

Yes you can lift it but you have to buy a set of springs and convert from air to springs.

You could make a spacer for the rear bags and keep rear air ?

Look on ebay they sell spacer kits for the air bags with extension links for the ride height sensors.then you buy a pair of springs for the front. You might have to extend brake hoses and such like aswell though.

I've seen a couple of kit available one of them is a britpart set £300 for everything. Not sure about britpart tho. Any good?

Everyone has their opinion about britpart some good some not they are cheap i will give em that but thats not always good. Try one of the site sponsers famous four or ask in the wanted section you never know your luck.

You can lift the D2 with spacers and extensions to the leveling valve on the rear if you look at www.discovery2.co.uk should be on there as he has a 2inch lift
