Looks good but expensive.
I'll not put an a bar on my freelander even to mount spots, personal preference though.:)

Mine, fitted last year. £96 for the bar.

Please note you need to fit it to the front bar behind the bumper, I had only 4 of the 6 mounting holes for some reason and the 4 were too large for the brass lugs, I gave the job to my local garage. They hate me now! :D haha.

It did however save my front end and lights from damage at Christmas when a Alfa Romeo mito reversed into the front of my car, the bar took the hit and got a chip and some light scratches, she needed a new bumper and boot lid.

A.J.M hope u dont mind me asking but where did u get that bar as its what iam looking for most i have seen are nowhere near as chunky as that btw ur ride looks v nice

looks good, but im a pre facelift model, are the mounting brackets the same? are can be adapted?

The top mounting brackets can be easily adapted, but.........

The bottom fixing points are a different distance apart so would need cutting and welding. Not a good idea.

I spent ages trying to fit my pre-facelift bull bar to my newer facelift model, without any cutting and eventually I gave up, sold it, and bought a new bar.

Thank you, I got my bar from eBay.
My bar is the same bar as "thequeenscheese" linked. Mine was £96 inc postage.

It comes with all fixings and full instructions for fitting to 04 onwards models as the bar is shaped for the bumper of the 04 model.

Hope this helps.

ok cheers peeps, ill get one, one day im having one of those weeks looking but not buying lol, altho i did just buy spots and an official wiring kit, gotta decide where they look best now im thinking bottom grill under number plate, i dont like the look pertruding forward ontop in front of the grill/rad..
