just about completed an early series three renovation, and had to fit a different bulkhead on as the origanal was well shot, i have noticed that on the bulkhead where it joins the gearbox tunnel, usually there is a flangy thing what the gearbox tunnel bolts to, and on this one there is no flange but hole's there as if something was bolted to it, its a bit hard to describe, and ill try and put some photo's on tomorrow, anybody got any idea's from my description

if its what I think it is, later bh's had the flange as bolt on c.f. welded.

here is a pic showing the two types, if you are a skilled welder, Pegasus parts do the weld on one but the holes would need to be welded up on the bh.

only way to get the bolt on one is keep an eye on forums or ebay

Thats it, did you make that Honoluljoe,? if so you have made a dam good job, i was tying to think how to make one and now i can see how its done with the flange on the bend, thank you

no that's the Pegasus parts one I couldn't do anything like that.

I was going to get someone to weld it on but then I saw the green and yellow one on ebay so I got that and used it instead.

link to the Pegasus one, not ideal but if you can't find or make the other type, it comes to around the bottom of the holes on the bh that the other type bolts in to so you have to find a way of covering them
