I'm looking to add some sound proofing to my interior and swaying towards the dodo mat style where it's peeled and stuck to metal.
My question is , is it advisable to stick this to the bulkhead interior considering it may trap water and promote corrosion, or am I worrying about nothing?

(My bulkhead is galvanised if that changes anything)

I think plenty of others have done similar. If you bulkhead is galvansied, I don't think you should worry. I would still inject some cavity wax inside it though as I'm not convined that a lot of the galvansied bulkheads on the market ever got the zinc flowing on their insides!

Easy way to check is if the bulkhead has 1/4” holes drilled near the top to allow the flow of galv
