Apparently there's a few different flavours of bulk heads for the 6cyl, mines a series 3 1975, how do I tell the difference, just seen 4 different types on the Pegasus site and don't want to be ordering the wrong one as I live in N.Ireland and not easily returned ?
Not sure I'll be ordering from Pegasus, but shown for reference, any suggestions of a reliable bulkhead supplier ?

a reliable bulkhead supplier

doesn't seem to be a consistently reliable one. according to pegasus' homepage they aren't taking bulkhead orders at the moment.

there is an outfit called classic bulkheads in Birmingham some people think they are brilliant others have had long delays.

is your bulkhead too far gone, repair panels from someone like yrm might be your best bet, although if you cannot weld you would have to pay someone to do it, but you could lessen the cost by doing all the prep

I managed to find a good used bulkhead some years back on ebay for around £100 within easy distance but I was looking for quite a while, mine is just an ordinary series 3 a bulkhead for yours may be harder to come by used.

Sorry for the late response, been a bit manic, and I don't have any broadband at the house, don't even have mains water lol. Started work on Gurty recently to uncover the extent of the rot, she's pretty far gone, found a bulkhead in pristine condition locally, they're looking £500 and will probably have to get the tunnel reworked, but the guy thats helping me with the welding reckons the new bulkhead is the way forward, there's a local company in Portadown (Shielder), selling galv ones for £1600, but will still need modified although they seem to be interested in getting my old one for pattern making purposes. facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/Gurty109 but heres the most of the bulkhead pics.
