what’s the differences between the Series 2/2A bulkheads?

As far as I can tell the newer (later) ones have a wiper motor on the left and the wiper arms poke through the bulkhead

The older ones – do they only have screen mounted wipers?

Are the bulkheads the same apart from those wiper arm holes on the bulkhead?
Are the screen different – i.e. one with wiper attachments and one without??

or are there more major differences?

I think you are describing the differences between a 2 / 2a and a 3
My 2a 1964 and it has the windscreen mounted wipers and the head lights in the grill (Where they should be).
I'm not sure if the 2a Bug eye (Headlights in the wings) had the wipers mounted on the windscreen.
They may have gone to the series 3 set up and mounted them on the bulkhead.

as for your questions I would ask the bulkhead manufacture.

I have a scrap s2a bulkhead from a 69 model i think - it has a wiper motor just like a s3 one>>????

s2 windscreen hinges are different as well

my 1963 2a has dash mounted wipers and yes the exterior big hinges are different in 2 and 3

you are on about the door hinges, the holes are in the same place, its the screen hinges that are different
