Hi all
Has anybody had the message centre randomly throw out bulb failure warnings only to find bulbs are ok because this keeps happening to me first the indicators then the side light o/s now the high beam any ideas where to start checking
Thanks in advance

Yup
If it keeps happening frequently I'd start at the BECM and check for dampness or corrosion on the plugs.
Think of it as good news, considering what a rogue BECM could do to you.
Even if you can't see anything wrong it's worth pulling every plug and re-fitting it a couple of times. They've possibly never been out since the car left the factory.

Also check the wires that go to the bulb are OK not uncommon to come lose or if you have removed them recently check they are snapped back in place correctly,

Thanks for replying I'll pull them out and check just to make sure

Hi I did this yesterday could not see anything suspicious in there and I'm pretty sure that it went back in ok

I found the connectors to my bulbs were very badly corroded. Cleaned them up and they seem to be behaving, no doubt waiting for the dark-damp winter weather before they next throw a wobbly.
