ffs have you seen the price of the MUD rails?!!!!
I did mine with 2 pieces of box section steel and some M8 bolts - took about an hour, total cost £1.50!

Also, you can't remove the bulkhead on a truckcab!

I've fitted a steering wheel out of a rover 100 (the newer metros) siliconed a wheel center cap from a freeloader over the middle bit job done. No need to buy one of those expensive mountney ones

quote:
MUD Rails are NOT a length of steel box-section. Each rail is fabricated using computerised laser-cutting and folding techniques before being powder-coated in a satin black finish to match the existing seat frames. The seat frames bolt back down into the rail using the captive threaded inserts incorporated within the design.

yeh right.

I am 6'5" and have no problems with the driving position after I fitted a few mods from mud stuff. If you have a rear bulk head they supply a bulkhead removal bar. This allows you to cut away the top section of the rear bulkhead so allowing the seats to be placed further back and reclined. The bar is then fitted to provide the strength back. The other mod I fitted was the seat bars from Mud Stuff. They fit between the seat rails and the seat box so allowing the seat to be placed further back.
The whole job took about half a day and it has made a such a difference.

here's how I did mine on the cheep
must get round to paintin the steel!
