I started a renovation of a 1968 88 Inch Series 2A. The car has been standing in my fathers barn for 40 years and now it´s time for wake up!
The project has been ongoing since last summer and I thought I should share the progress.

Late August 2019, finally the engine released from its “grip”. I poured small amount of diesel at engine top since the cylinder head was not mounted on the engine.

It’s relatively easy to release the engine from chassis when the car is stripped, but surprisingly heavy gearbox + engine.

Since the aim is to take everything apart I remove the axels also

Now it is mid October and I needed light in the garage, friend of mine and myself installed some nice light.

Late October the frame is sent for sand blasting, and back again two days later

I made the decision to replace half rear of the frame, now it’s time to construct a jig and weld the parts together!

Back in business mid January 2020!
Started to strip bulkhead and trying to understand the axles and steering etc..
