I thought i'd start this fred to show you all what i get up to in my Disco whilst offroading ...........

HOWEVER ......... this is the bit where i'll show you all the chaos that has ensued and the daft things i've done as well as damage and breakage pics :eek:

I think it'll make for a good laugh especially if other members add pics and stories of their "blonde" moments too :D

Damage so far .........

2 VERY bent rear trailing arms
Twisted, bent and snapped rear propshaft
Mashed rear diff (to be confirmed)
Bent rear section exhaust (now redesigned)
Various dents n dings
Tree branch through windscreen
Back bumper fell off :confused:

This is all after just 3 outings :eek: ........... they dont call me chaos for nothing ;)

Captain Chaos , u sure the name covers it , shouldn't it be something like "Total Disaster" or "Apocalips Now" , i'm just wondering............ but you don't have much luck now don't you..................... hmmmm , how much do you pay for insurance?????????????
I wich you all the luck in the world , sure you need it , can't wait for the other piccies tho :).

My Dad used to call me "disaster dan the catastrophy man" ......... cant think why??? :confused:

Guys ........... i wear size 15 army boots when offroading FFS ......... how can expect anything other than a heavy right boot? :p ;) :D

As for insurance ................. it's very reasonable actually :p

But seriously ........... this is the TOY .......... NOT the family car so if i break it it's no great shakes .... which means i can go for the slightly more difficult area's and go that little bit harder at them too ;)
 
Screw that, I would rather swim for it :p

hahaha nice pics mate, at least the Disco's are cheap enough to abuse and have proper unrestricted fun in eh, which is exactly what I got mine for ;)
 
You brits really don't appreciate these cars enough. You know how much they cost in America? Those pictures make me wince....

at $800 a pop and $400 scrap value It's no great shakes once they're dead just bung the engine & transmission on FleaBay and scrap whats left... :D :D :D :D


Just one more reason I'm Glad I'm not a septic.. :p :p
 
FFS cap'n, tell em you were towing the slitty backwards INTO the mud coz he was scared of it, not being rescued by it!!!
