Evening all,

My drivers sidelight has been damaged in a minor bump, i was having a little look earlier and the internals have been damaged to i.e all the plastic section where you put the bulb in etc. I took it out the bodywork to try and disconnect it so i can obviously get a new one but i cannot seem to see where it disconnects from the wiring?

Do you need to snip the wiring and then rewire the new one??

Hope that makes sense

Any advice would be great.

just buy new less than a fiver if pre 300tdi comes with wiring

yeah its a 89 200tdi, wheer does the wiring connect back to?

put your hand down from the back an it has 2 push connectors

I've had most the wiring out through the front and i couldn't see no push connectors

i'll have to investigate further on the weekend

lift the bonnet an just trace the wire thay should be there if no you'll have to cut it make sure you use connectors when you put it back don't just tape it or you'll have problems
