Now for stupid question time ....Will a 200tdi pump work on a 300tdi engine? I've been offered one by a mate

its not going to help you ,you need a 300tdi pump

Thought as much. Clutching at straws mate. I've had to hire a car to get us to and from the hospital.I

Dumb question but have you checked the timing belt is still intact?
