Has anybody had a chassis break on a 2003 discovery, mine went on tarmac and its scarey. Check your front nearside member for your safety. I did inform landrover but they were not interested as it is no longer under warrenty
At 17 yo why would you involve Landrover?????
Of more interest would be how long it was since your last mot?
One might also assume you don't do your own maintenance and/or safety checks
That must have been a brown trouser moment! It’s usually the rear chassis that rusts so unusual to hear the front letting go. Has it ever been involved in an accident perhaps?

Bearing in mind where you live probably been boat hauling on the beach...Landrover dont want to know about problems on the new Defender never mind your 17yr old clapped out vehicle...and do please post in the relevent section...
