Evening,
Think my gearbox is broken only reverse though. It's in my 1986 90 LT77 original box as far as I'm aware so should be around 110000 miles.
Last few months it's been getting really difficult to select reverse, then I got stuck in some sticky mud and spent a while going first to reverse trying to free myself.
After this it started to chuck the stick out of reverse especially when under load. But today I went to reverse and all I get is clunk clunk crunch when the clutch is let out. I've had a little look, took the light switch out, no different, tried it in low box and no different, even with the transfer box in neutral you can hear this god awful grinding.
Any suggestions to a quick fix? Or is it a box out job?
Cheers,
