For £350 its cheep
Too cheep
But if it runs and drives go for it cos you'll get that and more back for breaking it

What r u on about just wadding in

An introduction is considered polite, as it's your first attempt and I've had a few short whiskeys I will not threaten you with a chocolate teapot.

No problem - by now

I would've took it in a minute but it's 22 mile from my house do u think I could drive it home like that with no belt on at all or would the battery die

Just been on YouTube and it looks like its just a 60 pound water pump the fan isn't got bar that goes into the engine it's fitted onto a wee turbine inside the water pump so new water pump fan tight and sorted hope!

As you have found, the fan is connected onto the shaft of the waterpump, might also be worth doing the thermostat as your down there. If you do drive it put the heaters on full and keep an eye on the temp gauge like a hawk! I don't think you'll get very far before the battery dies and the steering will be VERY VERY heavy.
Good luck

Thanks for all the help would it be hard changing the water pump and can u take the water pump off with the fan attached once I removed the top plastic fan guard at the top there seems enough room but will it come out all together cheers again

It maybe a little tight for room with the fan attached, don't forget that the water pump has around 3-4inches that goes into the engine block. Also getting at the bolts behind the pulley will be an utter ballache, it will be a lot quicker to take the fan off, undo the four bolts holding the pulley to the pump then undo the four bolts holding the waterpump onto the engine block. Have a suitable container underneath beacause as soon as you break the seal it will be like Niagra Falls!
