What do you all reckon to britpart as a company....I'm looking at some of the suspension kits on mm4x4, mostly made by britpart. Anyone got any?

I had set of yellow britpart springs on my old disco for more than a year with no problems, my mate currently has the same springs on his and again had no problems, so in my experiance they seem pretty good considering they are a bit cheaper than others kits on the market

Ah've got the Super gaz H/D kit on mine. The springs are fine but the shocks were knackered within a year. Took them back to the shop and they replaced them under ****parts warranty with no probs at all ;) :D

Britpart tend to make **** parts in general. Everything that I've had from them, like thermostats, gaskets, filters and fuel tanks have felt really thin and flimsy. I don't know how you can make flimsy suspension though, it's just solid metal! Unless ofcourse the coiling process is cheap and nasty

Aye Britpart is pretty ****.

If you look on Paddocks (I would usually use Craddocks but for parts, but they have some good deals on this stuff) they have some good sets that cost just a little under double the britpart prices.

I usually just go for armstrong or Monrow if I am just looking for stock replacements.

Paddocks have a deal on Bilstein at the moment.

I've just used the +2" super gaz kit (DA4289) on my Defender and I'm really pleased with the all round performance of it both on and off road. Truth be known I do work for Britpart but I'm really pleased with my rebuilt 90 non the less (suspension included)!!

It was my feedback which helped improve the radius arms as there were instances of rubbing on the base of the bulkhead outrigger (as per other similar ones on the market).
