Normally I steer well clear of ****part, but any views on their coolant hoses?
Having just fitted a new RAD, I want to replace all the coolant hoses before I put new antifreeze in.

still working fine on mine, they are cut a little long so may need a trim if you can't get it in, better than being too short I guess?

As above, no issues with the hoses I have used currently and in the past! it is their metallic/plastic components that I would be cautious of!

No problems with their hoses i have a couple on mine. Top hose and C shaped one at back of head. The C shaped on is a little thinner than the Landrover hose so i would fit proper screw clips to it rather than the spring ones fitted as standard. I had a weep with spring clips but fine with screw clips.

never like re-using the spring clips they are never as tight second time round

I will be using S/S Jubilee clips:D

On my 4.6 petrol Thor engine, the top hose between rad, engine & Tee down to thermostat was one piece, now a plastic tee piece & 3 separate hoses.
My Britpart hose assembly lasted 5 months before the molded Tee piece broke.
Money refunded but replaced it with a Bearmach one.
Look for previous thread with pictures.

S/S Jubilee type clips yes. Land rover are to be congratulated on fitting stainless steel clips on fuel tank filler neck connector but with corrodible screw fittings. Had to cut them off. Other than that tank out for lift pump was a piece of pee. :D:D

Not the fault of the clips although i don't particularly like them. The hose is slightly thinner walled so they do not grip as they should with the Britpart hose.

Keith, I had sh1tpart top hose on a Td5 and wasn't overly impressed TBH. Softer rubber than OEM and wasn't even the exact same size, was a little too long. :confused2:

Hope rad didn't go on your UK trip? And was the UK trip a success - you know, quite roads, cheep fuel and great motorway service statione etc etc ?

It did, day after we arrived, 5 hours at 75/80 was too much for it:mad: Shame as I have a spare here in France.
Didn't buy any expensive UK diesel, filled up just before the ferry and it lasted. UK Roads are terrible, full of pot holes and the main A27 completely closed when we arrived, traffic also awful, 40 minutes to do 5 miles:mad::mad::mad:
Not going again:)
