You would what?

Always useful to put the subject in?

For my part I would have known the Paddocks bit was Britpart - they all are unless you demand otherwise.

Fit it, it will be fine BTW.

Depends if you want to take it all apart again in six months time to fit another release bearing.
Fit OEM and be done with it. They're good for 200K miles and more. They might cost double but having recently changed my engine I would not want to do it again for the sake of a small but crucial part.

i fitted one and it id 6 months.

May have been the 400 miles with no gear oil though, which managed to melt the bearing to the nose :)

Well unless your braindead or a pedantic fooking twaat. It's fairly obvious what he's referring to. the OP's question was simple enuff and simply answered.

However the fact that yu'd advise someone to fit a ****part bearing is probably a clear enuff sign, as to what a cuunt you are. Do uis all a favour and get ya head out of ya arse..

:hysterically_laughi diplomatic as always

yeah send it back and if your cheeky enough they might even discount you one for the time lost if your pretty good at blagging

Thanks for the advice (and entertainment!)

Spoke to Craddocks yesterday and they have only got Britpart too. Will main dealer still carry this item??

Ta

hell aye

They fitted the same part to every defender, disco, RRC wit a diesel engine up until the TD5 came in!

Should have one :)

While your engine/box is out, reinforce your clutch fork. Its worth it, cos the ball can wear through otherwise, meaning the whole lot has to come out again :)
