but by the time i've read them all me old 200tdi will have rotted away
and i won't need them

Dont forget your extended bump stops, new cranked radius arms, cranked trailing arms, extended brake lines, new bushes while its all in bits and a full 4 wheel alignment and geometery set up after your done. Then if you still get vibration you could try a front prop off a td5 that has the 2 joints in it. Thats all

i've got extended dampers..............they're in the back of my 206 still in the boxes ! :decision:
do yu need check straps on a disco - I thort the A frame stopped it going too far?

if your only going 2" then just turn the brake pipe bracket the other way which is all i have done, and i only got 2" springs added to mine so far. They make the road ride a little better to tbh and i still have my anti roll bars fitted and get full articulation too !!!!

Dent... if the castor is ok when lifting your Landy 2" they wouldnt sell castor corection items to rectify the problem that apparently does not exist! Your steering may not self centre and will almost definatly be heavier if not properly done which will put strain on your power steering system resulting in premiture failure. The suspension bushes will be under constant compression even when the vehicle is just sat there not being used due to the incorect angles every thing will be at which will result in early failure of the bushes and you will also get uneven tyre ware. If it isn't done correctly you will be in a Landy that drives like crap, vibrates like buggery, has knackered bushes and illegal tyres due to them being bald on one edge within 3-6 months. If your going to do a lift price up all the parts you need to do the job properly first because even when you have informed your insurer you have modified the suspension if you bodge it and they inspect it as unsafe after an accident you will not receive a pay out not to mention the list of failures you will have come next mot time.
Correction arms may be ok for the BOLT ON BOYS but there are cheaper ways of correcting castor, plus they don't look as strong as the standard ones, bushes are always under load , they may wear a little quicker but their cheap and easy to replace. It is much better to treat your disco as an individual vehicle than to think that they all have the same suspension geometry, a lift will not affect all disco's the same.
I cannot honestly rememeber where I got my 2" lift springs a S9000 shock absorbers but they fitted and work fine .....except a vibration which occured at about 110 kph, I fitted a Double Cardon front prop (Paddocks) (do not forget to get the correct flange for transfer box) and all was (and still is). The brake lines can be replaced with 2" longer (important at the back as it is a little on the short side) if needed.
I did replace front radius arms bushes at the time just for good measure and the car has seen off road use most weekends for the last year or so and a recent competition win proves all seems to be well.
I did not alter anything eles AFAICR,
