anyone know if the Britpart +2 springs are sided? There was nothing on the boxes to suggest anything other than front and rear but it’s definitely lopsided now!

I've never known springs to be sided,

Front and rear yes, but never sided.

Aren't 4 door springs stiffer? If yours is 4 door then maybe you got a rogue 2 door spring (or 2) by mistake?

Sometimes they are stiffer on the drivers side (D2 is at least) but normally marked which side is which.

Assuming you are referring to a RHD V8, springs are not sided but a LHD variant does have handed springs & I believe diesel versions do too.

No I just bought some D2 springs a week or so ago (RHD) and the left and right were different part numbers.

Sometimes they are, although on RHD RRC they aren't.

Did you check that the ones you fitted to each side were the same length with the same appearance & that you didn't mix F & R by accident?
Did you replace any suspension bushes at the same time & tighten their bolts before letting the car back down & settling it?
ETA on that last, it might be worth slackening the bush bolts & letting the car settle with the full weight of it in its normal running position before retightening on the ground.

Check the length. May be they have given you a standard length instead of +2

Yep standard springs are sided to allow the weight of a driver & still sits level.
Not spotted modified springs marking the sides to fit. I have modified TF on my 110

I didn't check, because I had no reason to! The fronts and rears were definitely not mixed up. I didn't replace any bushes other than the bushes for the shocks which I replaced at the same time.

You might not be the first to suggest that! :D But it sits unlevel with nobody in it, both front and rear. Maybe it's just part of the Britpart experience.....

Only thing you can do is try swapping them side to side. Ya never know yer luck. ;)

I had genuine LR springs & dampers fitted to my '87 a few years ago & would you believe the car leaned slightly to the driver's side afterwards :(

More likely I’ll just replace them for terrafirma or something. Britpart could cure the world of epilepsy the amount of stuff they do that doesn’t fit
