I had the same problem and the same concerns .. in the end i opted to buy a complete propshaft from Paddocks ... and it's fine and it did come in a blue bag & i drive my S111 daily up and down the mountain in all weather and depth of snow ..
It’s sheitepart then .

Not surprised. Britpart are just a supplier they don’t make parts just brand some stuff as theirs.

Nope it's a perfectly working ok part that came in a blue bag .... so far everything i have that came in a blue box has been fine, as long as it fits and does the job im not a spare part snob ...
Don’t get me wrong. I will use Britpart. In fact I’ve just replaced the front propshaft. I’d temper that by saying some of their stuff isn’t great- switches, light fittings, some brake parts that are manufactured in India and similar places.

Hmmm, Britpart for UJ's? I'll vote for 'no way', regardless of whether there's a 'G' after the part number. These things can cause a massive accident when they go, and while I'm happy-ish to put up with their hopeless light units/ speedo cables/ wiper spindles etc etc, I think I'd spend a couple more quid and avoid the dreaded blue bags on this occasion!
I think the Bearmach UJ's are probably better and still not expensive.

Agree completely, I have fitted various Britpart bits with no issues, there are parts I wouldn't use: track rod ends, wheel cylinders etc, anything safety related or with rubber as an essential component. I think a lot of people automatically recoil from the blue bag because of horror stories heard. I do listen to people's stories but prefer to make up my own mind.
