I have heard lots of horror stories about britpart items on here, thinking of upgrading my suspension (90% road use at the mo)

£188 for the Britpart HD Suspension kit

£352 for Bilstein b6's

Is it worth the extra dosh? Has anybody had experince with either brand?

Thanks to all that read/post

I have the britpart HD springs and they are fine been on 2 years now On/Off Road use. If you use them with no weight they bouce a little and it will lift it a little too. I would not go for the Shocks but the springs are fine. And that's from someone who don't rate Birtpart

i've got britpart hd springs and britpart super gas shocks and have had no problems with mine as of but they have only been on approx 8 months. and thats 70% road and 30% off road

SHORTROUND, how have you found them on the road? any improvements of the standard £9.99 ones

the next step up might be procomp shocks, about 35 quid each.

they drive very nice on the road on mine, quite firm tbh but it cuts out that wobble a fair amount.

cheers.

i always assumed pro-comps were for mainly articulation  i just want a bit firmer ride so that me bus handles a bit better :)

you can get standard length or extended versions.

theyre quite firm though i think, so might do you proud on the road...

Bilstein shocks were awesome on my old bmw 3 series, not sure if they are any good off road tho ?

Cheers Hunty think thats what im going to save up for, B6's all round, now just to find some nice springs to go with them :)
