what everyone so down on britpart clutches for?

just thought id do a search everyone says there crap but no reasons why. ive just ordered one for my 200tdi only reason being that it says its heavy duty and i do alot of towing.
what are the reasons behind everyone saying there crap? surely they wouldnt be aloowed to sell them if they failed quickly or easily.

Britparts are ok for stuff like ..erm..screws and bulbs...i wouldn't trust them for an integral part such as a clutch or gaskets...for the extra few quid its well worth investing in quality parts..otherwise you have to pay twice plus labour if you cant do it yourself...

I got this..

LAND ROVER DEFENDER 200/300 TDI CLUTCH KIT WITH FORK! on eBay (end time 14-Nov-10 12:26:54 GMT)

Which is quality part, you can get the heavy duty clutch fork for £8 extra...its piece of mind...for 25 quid extra..got to ask yourself the question..would i change a clutch, oils etc for £25??

if you have read the comments, and still, ordered one... you'll soon find out the "Whys"

:D

Well I've used loads of Britpart stuff over my 8 yrs of LR ownership and had no troubles at all.

We should remember that Britpart are only a wholesaler, not a manufacturer and what I have found is that I order Britpart and recieve Delphi/Wabco etc, via Paddocks at least.

well ive decided against the britpart clutch. ive got a havy duty clutchfork and also a new slave cylinder. gunna set to and fit it all saturday i think.
