How should fitting the above springs and britpart shockers affect the drivability and ride of the veihicle?
Im asking because iv just fitted them but also some indsa turbo saharas and im not sure if its the tyres or the suspension thats causing an unusual driving
phenomenon.
When i change lanes on the motorway at 70mph i notice a sway that almost needs correcting by steering.
Im completly aware that these tyres wont handle like road tyres.
But is that normal?
 
Not the tyres my friend, I've run them for over 3 years now and never had any problems, I would suspect the suspension + the dreaded naff Brit-part
 
I have has pattern i.e brit part springs no probs I suspect maybe a a frame bush or some kind of worn bushing somwhere

I have to say I think they are brilliant, I have no problem at all with them, they corner well on the road, theres very little noise from them when on road, they perform well off road and also last well, my current set I've had on for 2 years and I have driven them hard, they are just coming to the end of there life, so will be investing in another set very shortly.

hi every body changing suspension on disco 2 from air to coil springs any thoughts on witch kit to go for,i also tow a small caravan sometimes. cheers scud.
 
Id go with A frame ball joint as well if Bushes doesnt make much difference. I been running on brit Hd 2" lift springs and shocks with no probs. However I did take off the flowflex bushes off the shocks as they didn't seem to do much. feels better with factory ones. Very pleased with springs
