was going to change my belt tonight only to find I'd been sent a Britpart belt! Has anyone had any problems with these? I've never been a fan of Britpart for crucial things but maybe they're ok?
The only reliable belt for a Td5 is genuine, that's a fact, also britpart can be acceptable if it's some pure metal bit without rotating elements, when rubber is involved they are sh*t

Thanks that's what I thought. Trouble is with some of these things is the manufacturers say they're made in the same factory or something but don't say they don't have the same quality control or use different materials. I might ask Britpart and see what they come out with!
that's one of the areas where the difference between OEM and Genuine is obvious, but for that one you have to buy a Genuine LR and compare it with a Dayco to see with your own eyes like i did.... the difference is clearely visible and touchable and the Dayco didnt fix the squeal while the genuine did
