what about making some "how to's" off the back of what is going on in the workshop? Someone (non technical or technical) can take photos etc. and we can write up some little articles for the Forum on what's happening and how to do it yourself?

Even simple things like changing a wheel bearing requires a how to for someone who has never ventured into playing with a landy before...

i think it's a good idea....Rats suggested it for vehicle service as well

I was gonna do a how to on changing discs, pads and wheel bearings when I did mine a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately I had to run to Bristol to get new calipers as mine were further gone than I'd like so i didn't have time.

Could even do one on summit like treating chassis rust. I'm intending to treat and paint my chassis as long as the weather is ok at the show.

might want to do a oil in the loom /ecm on td5's and injector washers. And maybe do a glow plug, checking for working or not along with checking timer/relay.

As seems there are lots of issues with them when weather gets cold

Changing Fuel pump, Changing injector loom and injector washers have already been done (see defender how to section);)

For the ones who don't search and non members that might walk by the booth, Use to recruit new members, Keep Red and Doc from head of the welcome to the LZ table:p or they might get slagged for asking wrong question:lol::lol:

Right laminating the stuff from the air ambulance trip that Beasty has sent across- need a few photos of the day to print and laminate and hopefully someone has managed to lay their hands on a T-shirt and sticker.

Still need info and a couple of piccies from the Chippie run 1 & 2- be great if we could have a copy of any thank you letters so I can laminate them..... can someone contact Boomer to ask him if he's got anything

Then there's the childrens hospice that Fanny organised- again can you send Beastie that info so he can send to me and I can print and laminate.

Doing the banner for the top of the display board- LandyZone Community Fundraising, LandyZone Fundraising For Our Community, LandyZone Fundraising For Charity - what do people prefer ?

More blurb to come on Bakewell and Chippie runs. Poppys mailed me t-shirt and stickers this morning and Boomer has said he'll do the same soon (including a rare and exclusive Chip run t-shirt!) so that's all in hand.

Not got anything on Fannys Make a Wish Foundation donation yet but I'll try and find the thread when I get a chance.

Dunno about the banner.....1st one or the last I reckon

found a thread on the warwickshire laning thread - where we raised money for H4H by running a day's laning - not on the same scale as Chippie Runs & Bakewell Run but still goes to show the point

There was also the fund we pulled together for the H4H's Landy team doing the Dakah...

this title sounds more all encompassing and not just community projects.

Gone with LandyZone Charity Fundraising :)

Have printed off the two threads/posts with smaller charity fundraising - can anyone remember any others similar ?

I've found the issue I'm having. Knocking up a smaller flyer to get printed because I don't think my note book can handle the software I was using :D:D
