I'm after a few bits for the Disco, has anyone got details of breakers in the Notts/Derby (M1 J25) area that are likely to have Discoverys?

i know one in chesterfield who is cheapish, brother in law got a enjun bottom end for 150 quid.
and all the work is done for ya, eg taken out of scrap car.
will find the address an phone no for ya 2moro.

Its a good while since I was at this yard , but there is a breakers in chaddesden, Derby. It is Looms's and its just off the ASDA island. If you were to leave JNC 25 of the M1 and take the A52 towards Derby, you will come to this Island about 2 miles before you get to the City. Unfortunately I'm not sure what it is signposted now unless ASDA is mentioned on it and once on this Island you take the 2nd exit onto Megalaughton Lane and the scrappers is more or less the first thing you come to.

If you were to miss the ASDA island then you would see the yard from the A52 on your left hand side as you have to continue towards Derby.

Hope this is of some use.

thanks all for the help, managed to find what i was after at Hi-Range just off the A38 near Burton.

Mormond, I'll bear you in mind when I next need something.

Toad, I tried Albert Looms, they didn't have any Discos in, however I was tempted by a 'K' reg 110 with a rusty bulkhead for just over 1k.

I was just about to suggest hi range, someone suggested them to me at work.

Do they strip the bits off and have them sat on the shelf? Or do you have to get all the bits off the landies you want?

some of the parts are on the shelf, anything else you will need to do yourself. best bet is to give them a call and check before you go.
