Can anybody help me please, I'm wanting to upgrade the brakes on my series 3 so that my good lady can drive it ( all seven stone of her). Will I be able to fit a larger servo from a 90 (8") straight onto the master cylinder of my S3?
Any help gratefully received :)

There was a servo for series 3 produced.
Have a look on padds or crads and you will need to change the master cylinder as well.
The best option as a start is to fit 11 drums on the front off a LWB.
 
Thanks for that, any particular type of Defender and has anyone written down what else you need to source and change? Really appreciate this info. Ta!
 
Hi, I've got a servo and 11" drums but was looking for a larger servo. Have read somewhere that a 90 servo is bigger than the one fitted to my series 3 which would no doubt take a little less effort to slow the beast.

Sorry for not being clear, I've got a LWB with 11" drums and a servo but I have read somewhere that a 90 servo will slot straight on to my S3 and it's bigger.
Hopefully this would be a cheap way of helping the old girl stop the old girl.
Have you heard of this being done by anyone?

You know that you can get bolt on disks for series.
There is a company that advitise in the back of LRM
 
I had an idea the other day would it be possible to put the Hub/swivel assy off a 90 axle on to series axle?
 
Thanks for that, I have seen ads for bolt on discs but without prices, makes me feel they're very expensive and dosh is a little scarce at present.
