The pedal has sometimes been pushing to the floor at slow speeds in the last day or two, but another pump or two n its all ok. No probs at all at speed, but i was just pulling into me drive n they totally went n wont come back. All the fluid is still in the chamber, so i dont know whats going wrong.. All the pads are ok i think, but i am just about to go check.. Power wash first..
Can anyone help please..?

No leaks then usually master cylinder failure internally.

Losing vacuum assist makes a big difference but you would still have brakes...

Cheers Noisy, but i have just found a rear brake pad has broken up and is slipping out causing the calliper piston to push out.
New pads needed n prolly a bleed up..

If the rear pads are slipping out the calliper is probably worn too. If you replace the pads with rear pads from a 110 they have the pins to hold them in place so they can't fall through the calliper I had to do this on mine after finding one of my rear discs almost cut through because the rear pad had dropped onto the centre if the disc and was constantly wearing away at it.

Cheers for the info but i have just got it sorted with disco pads.. I will try to remember to keep an eye on them.
