Pls can anyone help me?
When I depress the brake peddle -usually from cold, but now happening when in normal use, all of the brake warming light flicker on then go off, sometimes they go off in a fraction of a second then in other occasions they stay on for a couple of seconds.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Second problem I have Mute displayed in the LED of my radio, how do I clear it back to normal operation???

There's a serious warning bell going off in the back of my head about the brake pump.

As for the radio it would help if you gave a clue as to make, model etc. and whether you've got steering wheel controls.

Brake warning lights is most likely to be the accumulator which is the round black ball thing screwed into the top of the pump on the driver's inner wing. They are a sphere with a diaghram in, one side is charged with nitrogen, brake fluid builds up pressure on the other side against the nitrogen providing a reservoir of pressurised brake fluid. Over time the nitrogen eeks away meaning there is no pressure reserve left in it. This means when you use the brakes the pump has to run to maintain the pressure. If not corrected the pump will fail as it is being very overworked.

Thanks for all you help, does anyone know how easy it is to fit the abs actuator / pump, and what is the procedure, eg dobI have to bleed the brake system or is simply remove & replace ????
