Hi, the brake warning light is constantly on on my Disco. I've checked the fluid level, the handbrake switch and the fluid level sender, all seem ok. Any other things this light relates to? Cheers Marc

If u have pad wear monitoring then worn pads, always handy to give model and the year.

Sorry, it's a 300tdi auto 1997. No sign of any wires coming from the calipers.

Yup, I'm pretty sure you should have pad wear indicators on one of the front wheels.

They may have been disconnected from the caliper and tucked up out of the way, if earlier type pads were fitted.

Check the handbrake switch properly , it may be shorted internally.

Found it, the wire to the handbrake switch had been trapped under a bolt and was shorting out..........
