hi my p38 dse has developed brake shudder,any ideas to save me buying this that,ie wasteing money on parts i dont need ,thanx.:confused:
 
have you checked to see if there is any contamination on the brake surfaces.ie oil etc.
 
has the judder just started sudden,or has it been getting steadily worse.???
 
thanx for your replies,i shall get new set and post result,i thought it would be abs or something more exspensive,thanx again,heres hopeing.

before you go out spending your hard earned,can you get hold of a dial gauge to check the disc runout,check the pads to make sure that they are not breaking down etc.

ok thats the best way forward,whilst you are messing about under the beast have a look at all the other stuff to see if anything else is loose/worn that could cause the problem.cheers GD.
 
Discs most likely but check the drag link mine did it and the drag link was part of the problem just an idea

if they are what i think they are,they look ok,no splits in rubbers,but check again for looseness,thanx,

hi,had fitter finaly check discs,he condemed them,so new ones ordered,thanx again for your replies ,mick,:D:)
