Wammers you never cease to amaze me! How the heck can you pull the internal pressure of a brake accumulator off the top of your head?

he's written the answer so many times, has so much knowledge and so many books on these cars, he prob knows all the specs on every part of the vehicle.

Bought my new accumulator and arrived today :) , but can I hell get the old one off tried all different types of oil filter straps, there is a 22mm nut on the bottom of 'the bomb' but cant get spanner on. Is that the best way to get them off is the filter straps?

I hope you have de-pressurised the system before you tried to remove it? 30 presses on the brake peddle with the ignition off.

Good point but it would not stop it turning, just shoot like a rocket when the thread runs out , your would hear it hissing first tho

The size of that dome compaired to the thread is much greater , if you have a compressor with a 150 psi it doesn't stop you unscrewing the little brass drainer underneath does it ...,
