Hi everyone.

I'm currently rebuilding my 300tdi defender up on a galvanised Marsland chassis and have encountered a couple of problems in relation to the brake pipes.
I have made up all new brake pipes from the old ones but am having trouble with the front to rear chassis brake pipe. I remember the old one having lots of bends in it but can't remember where they go so mine looks too long at the mo. Can anyone with a 300 please advise me or better still post pics of the route this pipe should take.
2nd issue is attaching the brake pipes and fuel lines to the chassis. It would appear the holes in the marsland chassis are too big for the standard fittings. Does anyone know a way around this without drilling the chassis??
Thanks in advance.

Other than drilling the chassis, Their isn't a lot you can do.
I've just done a rebuild on a Richards chassis and had to do the same.
I ended up drilling holes for rivnuts and fixed with P-clips.

Fook me, the welds on that chassis look as bad as mine does....
Thats Richards off me list of chassis suppliers then

I used the plastic ones that you drill hole and hammer them in, my Richards had fuel line clip holes pre drilled and some brake line holes near the tank (90).

Thanks for the replies. I'll order some 07 on clips today and see how I get on. Can anyone help me with the correct route the front to rear brake pipe should take??
Thanks.
