Failed MOT Saturday because i used cable ties to attach brake pipes to rear axle. What should i use? I have been looking at the series 2 parts book and they show just one jubilee clip is this correct?

Mine have been attached with cable ties for years.
Yer MOT Tester is a nob head.

Only thing is, the ties can rub / chafe the pipes, so I wrap a 2" length of rubber tubing (split down the side) round the pipe under each cable tie.

There should be a large jubilee clip round the axle, then plates on each spring mount with rubber grommets for the pipes.
Mine's had cable ties for years, find a new MoT man!

What a muppet! I do the same, zip ties witha bit of rubber in between, nothing wrong with that!

OR look on ebay for the correct clips, cheap as chips...

Rear clip PN 11820L, PClip 56666, rubber insert 6860L available from Craddocks and Buckley Bros etc
