Yesterday out shopping all fine. I went back to the parked car the brake lights were on and also the ABS light on the dash was still on when driven.
The switch was really goosed, just over 6 months old, the plunger stuck in so ordered a new one from Paddocks which arrived this morning. Fitted that and the lights are still on, seems as though the pedal isn't coming back far enough or the switch plunger isn't sticking out of the switch far enough the two are not making contact with each other.
If I operate the switch by hand the lights go on and off but just parked up lights are full on. Are there any ideas you could please offer. The car is a 1998 300TDI auto. Thanks for reading.
