My Rangie is acting a bit odd.

I intermittently get the brake pedal pushing back and becoming ey hard to push down, then it goes to normal resistance after a while. When pushing back it feels much harder and I have to exert more pressure to effectively brake. This is usually accompanied by a pull to the right, towards oncoming traffic

I will have the front calipers off to replace front CV joints & bearings this weekend and have ordered new brake pads and all other bits from Paddocks. I will therefore be bleeding the whole braking system and hopefully this will sort things out.

Does anyone have any other pointers while I am at it?

Thanks

Sean

sounds like a servo problem mate. not really familiar with v8 but check all vac hoses are intact and not leaking

check the pistons in the calipers, you may have a seal gone and it could be getting a bit of **** in it now and then ;)

Over weekend planning to do both front CV joints, and replace all pads front & rear and of course power bleed. So i'll be winding all the pistons in.

Hopefully it will behave then. :)
