Basically any old ones will do.
I think I fitted mintex, not out of preference its just what he stocked.
Have fitted greenstuff to the disco, work well but 3 times the price of std ones.
thanks for the reply rebuilt brakes 3 years ago s/s hoses new seals pads all round working ok but not grabbing the wheels as well as i had hope.Been hgv driver 40 years like to know i can stop in a hurry.jeff
When I do brakes I usually use Pagid stuff from Eurocarparts. Sensible prices and a lot of manufacturers use Pagid for original fitment, never had a problem with them.

Well worth checking wheel bearings as slight play allows the discs to knock the calliper pistons back into the callipers a tadge resulting is slightly longer pedal travel.
I fix hgvs and reckon most would stop better than a defender any day!
Ferodo used to make the genuine land rover brake pads for the 300tdi era. Not sure if the do for the later models but either way they are good pads. You won't have a problem with mintex though.
