Hi all,
Just a quickie.
I'm going to change both front & rear pads on my 1994 L322 3.0 vogue.
Been looking online for pads etc and noticed on euro car parts site they also list front & rear pad wear sensors. I currently have the red brake warning light active with a message stating check pads?
When I replace both front & rear do I have to replace these sensors as well? they are not expensive but wondered it they to had to be changed along with the pads.
Thanks all in advance for your help & advice.
Mark.

Thanks Saint, can you confirm there is one sensor on front near side and one on rear off side? Thanks mate.

Correct.

Used to be just of the Bluebell Hill, recently sold but only moved a few miles up Road. Lovely views from the top there.

No problem at all Saint, no need for any apologies. Before I commit and buy all the parts do you think it's a good idea to check if one of the sensors are broken? I'm aware the pads are getting low as on the last service in July 14 my indy advised they were low, since then she's covered about 1000 miles.

Generally, if the warning is on, the sensor is knackered. also as I found, you may knacker the sensor anyway getting it out!

Thanks Saint, yes my work colleague did say when he changed his pads on a disco 3 that the sensor breaks on removal. Thanks for all your help Saint, and holidaychicken too you both been a great help.

No bother, i just changed my front pads and sensor, if you ever need to get the ABS sensors out, you can bank on replacing those as well as mine had to be drilled out.
