My brake lights have been out for a short while, and I'm wondering where would I find a fuse? The fuses are ok under the bonnet so I assume that there must be an in line fuse, but where? And would I be correct in saying the brake light switch is on the servo?
Thanks in advance. :)

Brake switch should be on pedal. Switch on servo is split brake switch i think.

what year would help.

i guess if fuses in engine bay then early

switch on servo is brake warning lack of vacum.

you dont have a seperate fuse if early..

brake switch is on pedal box, they #### up/wires drop off as do the wires on back of fuse box on bulkhead

if later model then you do have brake light fuse..its in the fuse box on heater..

I was assuming P38...goes to show I should have been paying more attention!

As you say, no vehicle info so we could be chasing our tails.....

Thanks for your replies and sorry she's a 1980 vehicle. So I'm either looking at wire problem or brake light switch. :) I hate electrics I really do. :D

or power to brake light switch..or faulty connector by a piller..or bust wires as they exit n/s rear inner panel..or and i hope you checked...2 blown bulbs
