hi from south wales. Totally new to forums but can any one tell me how a rear caliper piston fits into the caliper on a 2001 disco 2 ? (screw in?) It sticks every now and then

mm! have you popped the fooker while changing pads? they should just slide in but you must ensure that the seal doesn't get caught on the way in. lots of brake fluid on it and use a feeler gauge to help ease it in.

cheers didnt pop out just thinking of changing it cause its sticking cheaper than a new caliper

just take it out clean it up with some fine emery paper and stick it back in wiff a little bit of grease on it. .. then make sure its not leaking..

why bother when you can clean up the one you have in abart 5 mins and save yer 60notes fer yorky bars and irn bru

Cheers guys looking forward to my yorkies and ironbru (or couple of strongbow) may be needed after. ps will it let the fluid out when i take it out
