Agree on the PRT, as for the electric pump.. just let it idle for a few minutes when you get parked.

Save yourselves some money, fit the water pump with the metal props (some have plastic) and get an apexi turbo timer. Same effect, less hassle, less money.

hI :welcome2: someone has to buy the petrol freelander looks o k to me plenty of advice on here if you look after it , it will look after you :)

Meh, good old ignorance towards kseries engines again eh. Funny how you find it everywhere as soon as people see the Rover badge..

If thats so, then how did it get to 97k? Pure luck? Please.

It's amazing how far you can tow one on a straight bar.:D:D:D

There aint many 1.8k series engined vehicles that have an IRD.;)

Having just bought a TD4, I have been scouting round my local dealers (needed a px) and whenever I enquired about a 1.8 I was always greeted with something like " .... and don't worry about the head gasket thing - this one is ok. I can show you receipts to prove this one has been done ...... erm .... twice"

I like my oil burner though ;)

you can get a thermostat rehousing that is inside the rubber pipe and a blanking plate for the origianl hole if it bothers you that much hope this helps
