Hi...
So I've bought a gearbox, how do I know it's ok to put straight in? I'm told it's a series 3. It's replacing a 2a box that is fitted to my supposed series 3 landy.
It had an overdrive fitted ( gone before I bought it) so I'm guessing it's missing some bits?
I'm also told it's good to go straight in, but how do I know for sure, what checks can I do, to be as certain as poss it's ok.
Don't want to completely strip it down and end up breaking a good box by my own stupidity.pics coming
Thanks
