Hi,
I replaced the near side wheel bearings and then took the landy in for the mot, she passed but on the way back both the front brakes stuck on.
The rears were completely free and I'd say the fronts were stuck on equally.
I am a bit confused since the backs were unaffected so although there is a bias between the front and rear I would have thought there the rears would have been sticking a little if there was a problem with the master cylinder or servo.
Since it was both sides, I don't think it would have been a blockage or caliper problem. I don't think changing the wheel bearing would have affected it except that when i clamped the pipe when I took the caliper off. Could this have damaged it and caused a non return valve kinda thing? But then again, it was fine on the way to the mot centre...
I opened up the bleed nipple, and a bit of fluid squired out and then the brakes began to free off. Wen't for another short drive and the brakes weren't sticking.
So I am baffled. Does anyone have any idea as to what could have caused this?
Thanks
Jasper
