hi mate
got mine from paddocks £48 plus postage, it looks a lot nicer than just welding flat sheets in, and its ribbed to give it extra strength.

I had heard these things were great for a bunk up in but didn't realise they were actually designed that way..

Hi, i'm just doing mine at mo and using a sheet of 3mil mild steel for the boot floor. Probably has more strength than the standard one and it aint likely to rust out for a lot longer!! £30 buys you a 8x4 sheet and the suppliers will even cut it for you:D

cheers guys, think i might go down the sheet steel route as it looks easy enough area and i think i have some spare from my mini van

cheers guys

if you use flat sheel see if you can borrow or get someone to put the creases in the metal for you with proper milling tools.

I do have the tools and they are so handy for metal work...
